Company name change
The name is one of the most important elements of a company’s image. If the current one no longer fits the business or you want an English name, we change it remotely: we check it, prepare the documents and register the change with the Centre of Registers.
What we need
- The new company name (we can check several options)
- The company’s registration extract and current articles of association
- Shareholder (member) details: name, surname, personal code, address, number of votes
- If a participant is a legal entity: name, code, registered office and manager details
Before changing
Check three things
The new name must meet the requirements of the Centre of Registers and the State Commission of the Lithuanian Language — otherwise the application is rejected and time is lost.
- Whether the name is still free and not identical to a registered trademark
- Whether it complies with the norms of standard Lithuanian (separate rules apply to English names)
- Whether it is not contrary to public order and good morals

The shareholders’ (members’) decision and a new version of the articles. You only have to sign electronically.

We register
We file the documents with the Centre of Registers and hand you the updated extract and articles.
